New Namib Housing

The new Namib-type housing is now available for different cameras. The Sony CX105 as well as the Sony SX30 cameras can be used in this underwater housing. The housing concept has changed and there is a housing to suit every budget.

The basic version is rated to 40 m depth with controls for ON/Off, Record, Tele and Wide. Converter lenses from different manufacturers can be used by the M67 thread port. The professional version is rated to 80 m depth with bigger controls and a leak warning.

The Namib housing comes from BS Kinetics. Like all BS Kinetics housings, this one is manufactured from carbon fibre and therefore is especially light-weight making it so easy to transport in airplanes. Accessories, like lights, are added separately. It has a little positive buoyancy in the water and guarantees optimum diving fun with unforgettable underwater films.
